Blogs in the Classroom

In a utilitarian sense, a blog is great.  You can use it to comment on problems the class is having over all, you can use it as a place to further define assignments, and maybe even so far as to post information about assignments.  Particularly for the last one, parental access would be great.  Not that I suspect my students would be anything but perfect, but it would definitely provide some oversight.

I think one could also use a blog to talk to the class, talk about poetry, redefine ideas, etc.  It would be a great place to further discussions and enhance knowledge.
